Safety Harbor 4th of July Parade Line Up - Group Three meet at 4th Street South and Bay Shore - Line Up time 9:00 AM. North Pinellas County Democratic Club is #44. We are the first group in Group Three. We are behind #43 The Dalmingo Society (antique fire truck), the last entry in Group Two and ahead of #45 Sit Means Sits Dog Training. (Most of the political entries are behind us in the parade). IT WILL BE HOT! Bring water, soft drinks, etc. There are public restrooms at the water-end of the Marina. The end of Parade is at 9th Avenue. As far as parking it is limited at the American Legion Post 238 and golf carts to take people to their cars, positions as needed. Also, there is limited parking at the Safety Harbor Library. Squad cars will be blocking traffic at: Main Street & 9th Ave. South (in front of American Legion Post), Bay Shore Drive & 5th Street So., and Phillipe Parkway & MLK. Let them know you are in the Parade and they will allow you through.

As you know, Adopt a Block is our grassroots organization in North Pinellas dedicated to talking to our own neighbors and getting them to the polls. Each of you has or will be provided a list of DEMOCRATS in your neighborhoods.

This meeting is for interested, new or experienced "Adopters". Are you interested in learning more about the Adopt a Block program?Do you have your list but have been slow to get started? Have you been out talking to your neighbors and need literature to hand out? This meeting is for everyone!

You'll have the opportunity to:
-Share successes
-Brainstorm challenges
-Get specifics on what we'll be doing from now through election day
-Pick up literature (aka "leave behind material") to distribute
-Drop off your lists (if you've been busy talking to neighbors)
-Get advice on how to get started if feeling uncertain
-Fine tune your list if too large/small
-Bring a friend who wants to talk to their neighbors
-Learn about additional volunteer opportunities to get Dems elected
-Learn about the Saturday Morning Work Group

July 17th's NPCDC meeting will focus on our School Board Candidates, as their election will be held on August 28th.
