Dear NPCDC Members,
With about a month to go before Election Day 2020, we still have a lot to do to assure that we are happy with the outcome of this entire election cycle. We have already done a huge amount of work on behalf of our Democratic candidates, and I want to thank each of you who has contributed to our great team effort.
Whether it has been writing post cards or waving signs, dropping thousands of candidate literature packets or texting until we can text no more, hundreds of volunteers have dedicated themselves to our cause.
I want to especially thank the District 65 Leadership Team: Mark Brandt, Toni Crowe, Melissa Gallivan, Lacy Hollings, Cindy Jaffe, Kathleen Keohane, and Jonathan Snow. They have done a great job of energizing and coordinating these efforts. We all owe them a great big hug – virtual, of course. Thanks, too, to all the volunteers and leaders who have worked in Districts 64, 66 and 67.
So, we now move into the last leg of this long race. We need to reach out by phone to as many Democratic voters as we can. We need your help to get this done. As you know, I’m sure, most people screen their phone calls. Our plan is to place calls to only Democrats in North Pinellas County. We expect that 95+% of the calls will go to voicemail. We need you to make those calls and to leave a brief reminder message. The same message will be given when a real person answers the phone.
A 30-minute training session on this calling process will be offered this coming Sunday afternoon, October 4th at 5:00 p.m. Lacy Hollings, our “trainer extraordinaire,” will lead this Zoom session.

This telephone outreach may be the most important thing we can do in these final days. I’m sure you have heard how important it is for us to get our fellow Democrats to VOTE. Well, the voting has begun. It’s now up to us to finish strong and get every possible Democratic Vote in North Pinellas County – Our home.
