Dear Fellow Democrat!
This is the time that we must get the work done... the work of electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, as well as other Democrats up and down the ballot. You know how important this is.
I write to you today to ask for your help. There are many voters in North Pinellas County who are seldom-voting Democrats or Left-leaning Independents. The Pinellas County Democratic Party has printed a large quantity of “candidate slate cards,” as they are known. They need to be packaged up and distributed to many thousands of residences in our District 65, here in North Pinellas. That is why we need your help!
We have two different volunteer opportunities for you.

First, is packaging the slate cards, along with some individual candidate literature. These items need to be inserted into plastic bags. We are asking volunteers who wish to do this, to fill 400 bags over a five-day period, from September 1, to September 5. We request that you pick up the materials at the designated location in your area and return the packages to the same location. This will be a contactless pick up and drop off.

The second task is the actual distribution of the literature bags. We are asking that you commit to delivering 200 packets to the front doors of identified residences in your area. A list of these addresses will be provided to you via our mobile phone app, MiniVAN. Instructions on how to use the app will be provided. There is no expectation that you will converse with the people at these addresses. You won’t even have to knock at a door or ring a doorbell. Just hang the bag on the door handle or leave it at the door.
The deliveries can be done on your schedule, and you may do it by yourself, or have a friend or relative drive along, with water and supplies in your vehicle. You can deliver the packets beginning the day you pick them up, which should be about September 5, and complete your deliveries by October 5. That’s four weeks, so about 50 deliveries per week.
If you are willing and would like to be a super volunteer, you can step up and do both of these tasks, but that is certainly not required. They are equally important to this vital project. We must get the attention of our voters and motivate them to support the excellent Democrats on the ballot. It’s now or never!
