The Safety Harbor Holiday Parade is one of our can't-miss events of the year, and Scott Long for City Commission will have an entry! Please join us to walk the parade route, giving candy to children and invites to the Campaign Kickoff Event to adults. Parade starts at 1 p.m., but staging begins at noon. RSVP here so we know who to expect, wear your Scott Long shirt if you have one, or a blue shirt if not and we'll have Scott Long stickers you can use! Our lineup position is #43 at the Museum. See you there!

Come hear Scott Long's vision for our city and celebrate some of the small businesses that make Safety Harbor so special! Enjoy coffee from Cafe Vino Tinto, sweets from Joey Biscotti, popcorn from GiggleWaters and snacks from The Sandwich on Main, with rock painting for kids led by Harbor Food Tours and Francie's Studio Fifth Avenue. Scott will speak at 7:30 p.m., and we'll have live music, too!

Greater Pinellas Democratic Club Holiday Program is Thursday. If you are attending, don't forget to bring a new unwrapped toy (or a monetary donation) for our Toys for Tots drive. We meet the second Thursday of each month and have an outstanding buffet dinner ($18) at Banquet Masters, 13355 49th St. N., Clearwater. Attendance averages 80 to 100.
